The same durability, reliability, and strength, you experienced with Viking Electronics standard ADA compliant phones is now available in a compact chassis such as the Viking E-1600-RDA. The compact phones can be programmed to dial an emergency phone number or central station number. By pressing the emergency button, the compact emergency phone will call the programmed phone number. If there is a busy signal or no answer, the Viking emergency phone will dial the next number and will continue to dial until the call has been answered. When a call is connected the red "Call Connected" LED button to indicate the call was received can be initiated automatically or manually.

Designed to meet ADA standards the compact Viking emergency phones can be used for handsfree emergency communication in areas of refuge, elevators, or any place where an emergency phone is needed. The ADA compliant phones provide a single push-button auto dialer, call indicator light, pre-recorded location announcement, and a tactile braille label. All programming including location numbers and phone numbers are stored in non volatile memory. Requiring no batteries or external power the units are phone line powered and are compatible with most Central Station Monitoring equipment.
